Halloween at Kristin's House

This year we hosted a Halloween Party for Riley's friends that live in our neighborhood that he doesn't get to see much anymore.  He LOVED it as you can tell by his awesome smile!

The kids had fun decorating mini pumpkins, mixing "Witches Brew" (clear water that turned different colors by adding various white powders), going on a treasure hunt, and breaking a piƱata in the shape of a ghost.  Most of the kids are from Riley's primary class when he lived with us.  He loved seeing them all again.  Aren't they a cute bunch?

Some of our favorite neighborhood kids.

On Halloween night we had fun staying home and handing out candy to the neighborhood kids.  Kristin made a festive dinner of "Worm fajitas" (the worms were thin slices of beef), and we carved pumpkins and played games until our last trick-or-treaters had come.  Then we watched "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" to end the day.  It was a fun Halloween!

Welcome to the New Anderson Family Blog!

In this fast moving world with everyone's lives going in different directions, it can be increasingly difficult to stay connected with each other.  By starting this family blog, we hope to make it easier for each of you to let us know what is going on in your lives.  We hope that you will take a few minutes every month or so to write something, comment on something or post something and help keep us all connected.  It will also be a place where we can announce upcoming events and activities, so check back often for that as well by clicking on the "Upcoming Events" page listed in the top right hand corner.

We will give each of you the log in name and password when we see you next so that you can all have administrative access and make updates often.

Enjoy!
