Halloween at Kristin's House

This year we hosted a Halloween Party for Riley's friends that live in our neighborhood that he doesn't get to see much anymore.  He LOVED it as you can tell by his awesome smile!

The kids had fun decorating mini pumpkins, mixing "Witches Brew" (clear water that turned different colors by adding various white powders), going on a treasure hunt, and breaking a piñata in the shape of a ghost.  Most of the kids are from Riley's primary class when he lived with us.  He loved seeing them all again.  Aren't they a cute bunch?

Some of our favorite neighborhood kids.

On Halloween night we had fun staying home and handing out candy to the neighborhood kids.  Kristin made a festive dinner of "Worm fajitas" (the worms were thin slices of beef), and we carved pumpkins and played games until our last trick-or-treaters had come.  Then we watched "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" to end the day.  It was a fun Halloween!
